Throwing in the towel, claiming the shutdown.
So, what's the path forward, what do we do now how can Democrats come back from this? simply put they have to stop holding on to the old ways, they have to stop holding on to the ACA. Something that was written and developed by the heritage foundation, dubbed Romney Care. Why Obama decided it was a good idea to copy the Republicans. I have no idea; it is beyond me. however, I can tell you it was foolish, short-sided, and stupid. Much needed at the time but never went far enough to fix anything. it was like putting a Band-Aid over a gushing wound.
The future of America, not capitalism?
Well, the first things we have to do is join the ICC and hold our leaders accountable to at the very minimum international law. The second thing we have to do is vote out the gerryocracy, The ones that have created the most corrupt circle jerk between business and government that the world has ever seen. the third thing we have to do is begin to pass new strict definitions for corruption. We have to update the Constitution to include them. Once we accomplish all this, we have to invent a new deal with the American people again reinventing and reinvigorating all of our social net programs cutting out the for-profit corporations that muddy up and take money that could otherwise go towards better funding the safety net programs themselves or paying down the national debt.
The Multiple reasons
So, the solution is clear Medicare for all. By switching to Medicare for all we can stop giving out free money to insurance companies via the tax subsidies that go to insurance companies, we could than take the billions form the insurance company subsidies and put it into direct health care for all everyday Americans. Effectively solving two problems healthcare for Americans and wasted money going to subsidizing private industry in our corporate welfare system.
Living in poverty with children
By achieving all of these things we cannot only improve the lives of millions of Americans across the country regardless of location within America, but we can increase the velocity at which our currency circulates within the country allowing us to have an overall healthier economy. Allowing America to continue to lead in the world for decades to come. Our current economy is currently shrinking while only small portions of it continue to grow, namely industries that lack human input or human workers for that matter. as our economy is continue to be dominated by this industry, the American worker continues to be forgotten.
The only way for the American family to thrive, the American economy to continue to be one of the strongest in the world is to invest in social programs. these programs should not be viewed as money being lost, they should be viewed as money being injected into the economy stimulating it. Rather than capitulating to the 1% who just want a slightly better tax break, so they can continue to collect trillions more while Americans struggles. American needs to be returned to the people and removed from the billionaires control. Our billionaire class has become increasingly chaotic, psychopathic, and criminal in nature. This must end and they must be controlled. we should be taxing the billionaire out of existence.
no individual should have more money than any individual countries, The individuals greed should not outweigh the majority of the populations well-being, it is just that simple.
The contract with the American people.
We must be using our constitution as it was intended as a living document and modernize our Constitution. our Constitution as it stated does not account for parties nor the control over the many in the country it allows. Along with removing party and accounting for our human nature to devolve into factions, there is another thing our Constitution does not account for and that is corporations and the ability for corporations to loophole our Constitution. The constitution says nothing it explicitly about them, Because in the 1700s Corporations didn't exist as they do now, yes you could argue there are some companies that where worldwide, but in that day, it was virtually impossible to control and buy up the systems of not only one country but multiple. In those days none of them could foresee a day when individual people people's wealth would outpace the entire GDP of a country. If we fail to modernize our constitution, we will continue to fall to the corporations little bit by little bit as they purchase the country out from underneath us, As they would like to say “legally.” What they fail to realize is that as the Constitution is a power vesting document with rights attached to it, any violation of those rights is a violation of the contract. therefore, making it null and void. Therefore, removing their right to rule. The Constitution in all reality is just contract law; We have allowed the individual branches of government to form in exchange for them protecting, providing for the common good of the American people, not our oppression.
We must never allow them to violate the contract with the American people.
Repair of our Branches of Government, the Executive
As The shining city on the hill America has to do better, We cannot be committing war crimes. We must begin to restore the balances between our governments branches, impose the guardrails that were presumed to be there and restore the executive branch to its stated position under the Constitution, removing as many arbitrary concentrated powers as possible and old law. If we can do this, we can restore America to the path of greatness it once walked.
Repair of our Branches of Government, The Supreme Court
on that note we come to our definition of bribery which unfortunately for us means we have to involve Congress in repairing our definitions. We used to have quite strict stringent definitions of bribery and what counted as it, but over the years the supreme Court has slowly eroded that because they're taking bribes to be frank. You can just look back at the reporting of Justice Thomas and others to see that they are actually legitimately taking bribes. the easiest way to avoid allegation of impropriety is just by making the definition so broad that impropriety is almost unperceivable under law. as Americans we have to force Congress to change our definitions of bribery to be some of the strictest in the world. our penalties cannot just be civil; They must be criminal . if you're not afraid of being locked up, one you’re fool, two if you already have been bribed millions of dollars a $10,000 fine is not going stop you in any meaningful way. It simply becomes a cost of doing business.
An update to the smoke filled rooms
As well this hybrid system would allow us to keep our favorite first across the finish line, vote first to 51%. We need to be adapting to the 21st century if you people don't want to deal with independent candidates. then you have to open up your primary and endorsement process and internal voting to allow as many people as many people as possible the opportunity to participate in the process. Rank choice voting can do just that because that is what we want as a democracy, as many people participating as possible, We do not want these smoke-filled backroom dick sucking contests. That has led to the entrenchment of politicians. People shouldn't go to work in Congress to die there, They should go to work in Congress to make the country a better place attempt there Ideas and move on.
Proposed 29th Amendment: Opinion, Polling Data, and Local Support
The proposed “29th Amendment” aims to modernize and strengthen American governance by addressing a range of issues—campaign finance, government transparency, digital rights, and social welfare. Unlike more narrowly focused amendments, it takes a comprehensive approach, reflecting widespread voter frustration with entrenched interests and outdated structures. This broad scope can be both an asset and a challenge. However, when looking at public sentiment, there is plenty of optimism about many of these reforms and how they might reinvigorate democracy.
Gerrymandering an existential threat to democracy
The correct response to a corrupt action should never ever be to copy the corrupted action, The correct response to a corrupt action is to rectify the corrupt action. Democrats have fought with imitation of the Republicans for too long and this is a practice they must stop. if people are to take them seriously as a political party. We need to be less reactionary; We need to be acting every moment. We need to be showing up regardless of the election year. Which is why we should invest in national redistricting laws that are neutral in nature. Because well yes States have the right to determine how elections are run, They do not have a right to determine how to disenfranchise people 401 political party or the other, Freedom of political affiliation to me is similar to freedom of religion and that it gives you the choice, The Liberty and the freedom of picking your party or not.
America is the land of freedom and Liberty for all regardless of political party.
The NEXT President of the United States
If we wish to restore the soul of the country that we all hold dear This is something we simply must do. We must not hold on to what George Washington would call the spirit of revenge. For that is what will undo America. We must continue to remember We are a union; We are the United States of America.
There will be a time after Donald Trump and the Republicans, he is not forever.
You and me we are enough to see it through.
The working-class shift,How COVID19 cost Democrats the Presidency
This is what largely accounts for the working-class shift, You take the uneven recovery with the inflationary pressure felt. somebody without a bachelor's degree would have been struggling at the time. Combined that with the messaging from the White House, along with an over focus on the middle class and not the working class. It is easy to see. Why, the shift in working people happened? Particularly low-income people who as illustrated by this graph had longer and more sustained job losses.
Freedom of Religion We have forgotten
To work and build our own American dream, not having the American dream imposed upon us.
Our culture is the world, we have never been defined by religion, we have never been defined by class or race. What has driven America is the struggle, the need for equality for all of us to be treated as equal as humanly possible. as unfortunate as it is there are some among us who would seek to see things become less equal, to see us fighting amongst ourselves. Because for them it's beneficial, they thrive, and we fight over their scraps. Americans have always deserved better than that behavior, we revolted from a king for that kind of behavior. As Americans as our history has taught us, we should set aside our petty differences of religion. Focusing instead on what similarities there are between all of the religions believe it or not they all do share commonalities. I'm quite often, the commonality are more frequent than the not.
The unrepresented majority of America
To fix this country we must, hold our political leaders accountable, move to a public funding for elections and remove the ability ALL PAC spending, The problem with money in politics didn't start with citizens United It began in the 1970s after the Wealthy got sick of paying their fair share and decided we are not worth their money. So since the 1970s the wealthiest tax rate has continued to go down. As a result they have personally ran up the credit card of the country, for their decades of tax breaks. And they expect us to vimo off their debt, as if there's some sort of bad roommate who spent all their money and now needs a $50. At this point I'm calling for 90% tax rate on the top 1% not because they need to be penalized but because if we don't, The country will go bankrupt. But don't worry They got all the crypto in the world you'll need.
Occupied Washington DC, Reunion day.
There is however is one dividing line among the people of this country namely your tax bracket, The haves and Have not’s. The oligarchy class Is seeking the destruction of the Union, represented by Republicans Donald J. Trump and some right-wing Democrats. They seek to divide us on race, religion, humanity socioeconomic status and any other label they can stick on you.
Gerrymandering not the correct path for America!
the newest trend emerging, gerrymandering a state. Again they are limiting your freedom of choice and choosing which side gets to win, they are they're essentially eliminating freedom of choice. Instead of gerrymander you will no longer have the choice between a Democrat, a Republican or an independent. Regardless of where you fall in the Overton window your choice will be made for you. By designing districts to predetermine outcomes, politicians strip voters of real choice. Any leader who advocates gerrymandering in their own state or someone else’s is confessing they don’t believe in free and fair elections. They’re terrified of genuine competition because it threatens their jobs, their power and the comforts of elected office. Their rallying cry that “we must gerrymander everywhere or we won’t have fair elections” is a decades‑long misdirection meant to normalize this abuse.
The Illusion of Choice: Overlapping Donors Between Centrist Democrats and Conservative Republicans
In American politics, voters are often presented with two seemingly opposed options: Democrats and Republicans. Yet beneath the surface of partisan rhetoric lies a web of shared financial interests that binds key factions of both parties together. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the overlapping donor networks of centrist Democrats—often influenced by think tanks like Third Way—and conservative Republicans, many of whom align with the Heritage Foundation.
This report explores how shared donors, particularly wealthy individuals and corporate PACs, contribute to both Third Way-aligned Democrats and Heritage Foundation-backed Republicans. It reveals how such dual-sided giving shapes policy outcomes, mutes transformative change, and narrows the scope of political choice available to the American public.
The Illusion of Choice: How Elite Networks Hijacked American Democracy
We’ve all been told that America’s political divide is between left and right, Democrat and Republican, red and blue. But what if that’s just a distraction? What if the real divide isn’t horizontal, but vertical — between the powerful few at the top and the rest of us at the bottom?
As we dig into the connections between Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and the political ideology known as the “Third Way,” a disturbing pattern emerges: both major parties may have been co-opted by overlapping elite interests that maintain power through a carefully managed illusion of choice. This isn’t about conspiracy — it’s about structure, incentives, and the quiet machinery of influence.
