The Multiple reasons
As I see it there's multitude of reasons that the Republicans currently have the government shutdown and one reason Democrats have the government shutdown. I'd like to take just a little bit of time and examine a few of them, not a great detail. I'm sure more than a few people out there could probably add multiple more reasons for the government being shut down under Republican control, but these are some of the more interesting ones, I think. So, let's dig into the shall we.
Let's start with the Democrats since they really only have one reason to shutdown the government and that's to protect the subsidies for insurance companies spending billions of dollars to keep the health insurance prices low for everyday Americans. Yes, I would love the prices to remain low for everyone; I would like to see the insurance companies go away ending the corporate death panels, otherwise known as insurance companies.
So, the solution is clear Medicare for all. By switching to Medicare for all we can stop giving out free money to insurance companies via the tax subsidies that go to insurance companies, we could than take the billions form the insurance company subsidies and put it into direct health care for all everyday Americans. Effectively solving two problems healthcare for Americans and wasted money going to subsidizing private industry in our corporate welfare system.
I will glaze over the nonsense that the Republicans say about healthcare. Mostly because it's really not even worth mentioning, it's just that stupid.
As always, a shutdown disrupts the normal operation process of the federal government, most of the time I’d say it’s definitely a bad thing. However, this time I don’t know. I’m torn between thinking it's a good idea and a bad idea. As we have a totalitarian government that has been harassing, shooting, abducting, its citizens, and people visiting the country. so, part of me thinks slowing down their ability to do this among other horrendous actions being taken every day. However, it's definitely painful as even right my family suffers under the shutdown along with everyone else.
Republicans by disrupting normal government proceeding, they can do things like not swear in the new Democrat representatives thereby avoiding the release of the Epstein files. Benefiting not only the deer leader Donald Trump but the party is a whole as Republicans like Ted Cruz put it, we should be nicer to child fuckers. There must be a lot of billionaire child fucker out in the world for them to want to be nice to child fuckers, as the only constituency most of Congress cares about are the billionaire class alongside the 3% of America that consider themselves employers. But by having the government shutdown and normal proceedings disrupted it allows the Republicans the opportunity to claim that the shutdown is causing the problems and not them, but the whole country sees exactly what is going on.
What we as Americans see is two childish political parties playing games with people's lives while they remain paid, unaffected, unharmed and in power. As the shutdown continues in length, both political parties will receive blame. Republicans, however, will receive the majority of the blame as they are in power in all branches of government. as I will point out, until the day I pass from this world, political parties are the problem. Simply by their existence political parties break the entire constitution. All our checks and balance go out the window with political party allowed to exist, it's as simple as that. I hope one day we can move past these political parties and quite frankly childish games politicians tend to play with people's lives. Simply because they're more concerned with an (R) or a (D) at the end of their name Rather than the well-being of the people of this country.
