Security in Exchange for every Right and Liberty we possess
There are moments I have had to question how many liberties and rights we have to exchange in order to gain the security that Tom Emmer and the Republicans think we need. Back 20 years ago, people like Stevan Colbert was making jokes about living in a police state. These days make the G.W. bush days look quaint, at least back in those days their paranoia was pointed outward toward the world. Keeping the American people out of the line of fire. However, with people like Tom Emmer in Republican leadership the paranoia has boomeranged back and smacked us right in the face. I know with ICE rounding humans up and placing them into inhumane conditions for “law and order” at the point of a gun, it can be easy to consider them Nazis; I do find it difficult to disagree with this. I would like to offer an addition to this, The Bolsheviks. Everything the Bolsheviks did back in the day in Russia is being done here, right now. The fake populism, the prison system where millions disappeared and died, the blood in the street's rhetoric, prosecution, and persecution of political opponents and “others.” It is all happening just I did then, but we all must keep in mind it is for your security that the federal government do all this stuff, restrict rights, violate the constitution, kill and spy on citizens, lock the “other” up.
We have to undo the fascist creep that has led us to the Republican insanity that has gripped the country, we as a country cannot stand this; it is against everything that America has stood for over 250 years. We are the land of the Free, not the land of secret police and an infinite gulag style prison system. Furthermore, we are the land of the brave, not the land of performing illegal military strikes on random boats out at sea. We protect our neighboring countries we do not threaten countries next door. We are America, do not let them turn us into Russia. The constitution is not up for debate, due process for anyone is not up for debate, freely voting in non-nationalized elections is not up for debate, our rights and liberty is not up for debate. We will not sacrifice any liberty or right for their national security.
To undo the control, they seek to place us under, we have to recognize that the Supream court is full of shit. The epitome of the unelected bureaucrats ruining the country, they have no right to make law; So, they have no right to place the president above the law as well they have no constitutional authority to make rulings on constitutionality, therefor we do not have to listen to a word they say. Once we recognize the biggest flaw in the American Justice system, we can then start to put things back in order until that moment the wealthy are just going to continue to use the supreme court to undo our rights, liberties for their profit, continuing to leading us down a road of corruption, the president remains under the law regardless of what the most corrupt branch of government says. We must also take steps to place corporations under the constitution through amendments to the constitution, repeal the Patriot Act, Department of Homeland Security Authorization Act or the DHS Authorization Act, and introduce a bill creating a system that our intelligence agencies can share information, but not be stacked up in one organization to be used at a president whim to spy on the American people and declare them domestic terrorist for expressing their rights and civil liberties.
No one within our federal government currently will take any steps to protect your rights or liberties or their ability to spy on you at will under the pretext of terrorism, they all, however, will take the time to complain about them being spied on by others in the federal government; but not you or me.
