The NEXT President of the United States
As we are seeing under the horrendous dictatorship that is Donald Trump and the Republicans administration. Presidential immunity was the biggest mistake next to allowing the supreme Court to review law without more strict guardrails in place then ”strict scrutiny.” Because, as we have seen time after time, the supreme Court is not an apolitical being. The justices are not apolitical, And the system that has developed out of the 1803 supreme court case. This is continually allowed for corruption in the system, namely it is a favor for the wealthy in this country. Because only they have the ability, time, and money to pay off the justices of the supreme Court. While expanding the rates of the wealthy they continue to attack the rights of everyone else. as this trend has expanded into the executive branch, We have witnessed the presidents of the United States from George W. Bush on become more and more authoritarian in nature, rather than curtailing and restricting their own power, every president has continued to expand the powers of the president. And with the supreme Court ruling about presidential immunity, We are witnessing firsthand what happens when a president can do whatever they want. Regardless of party, this is the most dangerous thing in the world for the people of America and probably the rest of the world. An unchecked authoritarian at the helm of the United States military could initiate world War III. The founders of this country placed checks and balances in place for a reason, They failed to account for party. And now one party has unilateral control of all three branches of government. However, as it appears Donald Trump is dying, as well may well he realizes he is dying given some of his recent comments. The next president is going to have to be somebody that is extremely trustworthy somebody that is willing to undo the expanded powers of the presidency. Not somebody who is willing to use those expanded powers of the presidency to seek retribution. We cannot exchange one strong man demagogue for another strong man demagogue, Even if that's strong men claims to be on the other side. The next president of the United States must be willing to restore the checks and balances and expand them; 250 years is all it seems to have taken for the guardrails of old to wear thin. They must be strengthened. We must stop relying on precedent and goodwill, only the American people can demand this, 98% of the politicians will not offer this to you.
There are some who choose to imitate Donald, these people are not to be trusted They platform MAGA Nazis and imitate a dictator, only to become one themselves. As they say, imitation is this more sincere form of flattery. So, I implore you as an American to reject these people. reject their ideas, their hollow self-serving ideas, and egotistical strongman personas.
If we wish to restore the soul of the country that we all hold dear This is something we simply must do. We must not hold on to what George Washington would call the spirit of revenge. For that is what will undo America. We must continue to remember We are a union; We are the United States of America.
There will be a time after Donald Trump and the Republicans, he is not forever.
You and me we are enough to see it through.
