Farming subsidies, replacing biofuels with bio polymers
Let's face at the internal combustion engine is on its way out, It is a dinosaur from the 1800s reaching its pinnacle in the 1990s only making small improvements upon design since. In in an effort to adapt to climate change, We have begun developing biofuels. they tend to produce slightly less greenhouse gases then traditional gasoline. However, This is not a long-term solution. This is not a solution at all, This is merely a reduction In production of greenhouse gases. as any combustion of materials will in result in some level of unwanted materials and gases, it’s a contained explosion. We should marvel at the fact that we harnessed explosions to propel ourselves in a forward. It was most revolutionary. however, it's time has passed and so has the time of biofuel. For farmers that have become reliant on biofuel subsidies for some level of income, I have a solution that would allow you to maintain your incomes while producing something that is not only beneficial for the country, but the world as a whole. it opens a whole new market for America to take advantage of bioplastic. We could become the world's number one producer in bioplastics and biopolymers, We have the room, we have the agricultural know-how, and we have the goddamn hard-working ability to do it. If our federal government were to subsidize bioplastics in place of biofuels. It's a win for the environment; it's a win for the country. it's just a win-win situation, baby.
We should be working towards revolutionizing our power infrastructure via green energy sources thereby improving America's longevity as a superpower by reducing production cost of electricity, In turn investing in high speed rail to the rural locations and across the country. Along with electric vehicles They will allow us to continue to innovate in green technologies that the world requires for its future growth. We can use the opportunity of bioplastics and biopolymers to improve the overall economy and make more manufacturing jobs in America.
Farmers that now rely on biofuel subsidies will see a slow and gradual decrease in the profitability of producing biofuels, due to the simple fact that electric vehicle adoption will continue to only rise as the years continue to pass. The internal combustion engine will soon be in decline. We must head off this problem before it negatively affects our farmers more so than they already have been. All it will take is for us to realize that the solution is as simple as switching the subsidies to something that will have extreme longevity such as bioplastics and biopolymers.
We can ensure and should ensure that the American farmer only prosper.
