Decreasing online Child Pornography
While I don’t believe we will be able to entirely end child pornography on the internet, I believe we can remove it from the mainstream internet. The answer is simple, and it does not involve placing wide restrictions on the viewership of pornography. Instead on the producers of the content, and the platform by placing the burden of Age verification on the content creator and the social platform when uploading NSFW content. Forcing the verification onto the content creator and platforms that host NSFW content is by far the fairest and simplest compromise possible, it preserves individuals rights to view and interact with any kind of content they choose, while protecting anyone who does not want to view this kind of NSFW content but still enjoys NSFW content. it’s the 21 century we are over the prudishness of the boomers, rule 34 applies.
(If you have to look up rule 34, your old and probably shouldn’t be part of the conversation.)
By placing the burden on everyone this will have Zero effect on the people that post the content or the predators producing the content by exploiting children. as we have all been seeing with the billionaires, especially the technology billionaires, they love this shit, they love people like Epstein, they are totally fine with child pornography. So, we must also put the burden on the tech industry to make sure every NSFW posters are Age verified via credit card, ID, or Biometrics. It's not in the interest of the freedom speech to curtail our freedom with sweeping bans, We should be focusing on surgical precision when it comes to curtailing speech. After all it’s not every person in the worlds fault that there are a bunch of sick, demented individuals running around in the world, it’s the social media platforms failure for not placing restrictions on NSFW content creators them self’s.
Individual people do not deserve to be punished for the technology billionaires love of child pornography. It's their platforms their responsible for it, making sure the tech industry is healed liable is important. Section 230 needs to be amended to include a section stating that any already prohibited activity in the real world should be extended to their online platforms, we already have anti-child pornography laws in place, we already have laws dealing with drugs or whatever else you could come up with. Who and how we punish is extremely important. We don’t need to eliminate section 230; we need to amend it. So that the technology billionaires have to fallow the same laws as the rest of us or be held to the same burden of criminal prosecution the rest of us would face. You would think it would be just a simple matter of going well, this is illegal; so, let’s do something about that problem on our platforms. For big tech, It’s about doing as little as possible on the tech industry side. Otherwise, it’s cuts into profits. Problems like children being exploded and exposed via their privately owned platforms, is this problem too difficult to solve for our geniuses in the tech? besides, one must consider that the real profit is in the sale of your personal data and presenting you with targeted advertisements not hosting your content.
as almost every single big tech platform has pornography and child pornography on it, you will soon be required to submit ID verification regardless of where, when, and how you access there platforms. There is part of me that believes these restrictions have absolutely nothing to do with Child pornography, They have absolutely nothing to do with NSFW content. The thing that I see the tech industry in doing, un-anonymizing as much data as possible, too better track individuals and sell their data at a higher profit.
Because right now there are certain laws that do protect your data from being sold without being anonymous. Even so, through various techniques it's extremely easy to track down who owns a phone or a computer, where it's located and what it's doing. But including identification in this data it allows the tech industry with the advent of their mass surveillance AI such as meta’s LLama to better keep an eye on you, your activities, posts and what ever else they chose. Big tech must be brought to heel, with our laws and constitution. Just because they are a corporation dose not place them above the law like they think.
