The Wage war on Wealth Tax Plan
Hello! to the fine people of Minnesota District 6, Austin Winkelman is Back with a new message. Wage war on the wealth Tax The wealthy, Save the country. Now what does this mean? Wage war on the wealthy? To put it in simple terms, we tax the wealthy at exorbitant rates. Simply Because when the 1% had a chance to Pay their fair share, they turned it down and took a tax break instead. Simply, the government is going broke Because we are taxing the poor, who have nothing as it stands.
It has gotten to the point where they have cut everything possible, Healthcare for the Elderly; Food programs for those in need including for children, the elderly, and working-class people everywhere; as well as the federal government staff to just make everything not function as well. Because it is pretty easy to point at the government and say it does not work when you do not fund it. so how do we fund the federal government? We tax the wealthy. To that end, I am proposing the following changes to the tax code of the United States of America.
Policy Change Estimated 15-Year Revenue Gain (2025–2039) Estimated 30-Year Revenue Gain (2025–2054)
Repeal of 2017 Tax Cuts (TCJA) – restore individual rates, standard deduction, etc. ~$6–7 trillion ~$12–15 trillion
90% Top Income Tax Rate (on income > $10M) + Taxing Capital Gains at Ordinary Rates for high earners ~$2–3 trillion ~$5–6 trillion
Corporate Tax Rate to 42% (from 21%) ~$5–6 trillion ~$12–18 trillion
1% Wealth Tax (net worth > $50M) ~$1–2 trillion ~$3–4 trillion
Repeal of Tariffs (loss of customs revenue) (–) ~$1 trillion (–) ~$2–3 trillion
Total Additional Revenue – Static ≈ $12 trillion ≈ $30 trillion
Total Additional Revenue – Dynamic (approx.) ≈ $10 trillion ≈ $25 trillion
The only way save America, grow as America , ensure country remains Strong; is to tax the wealthy. Poor of this country cannot shoulder the burden of an entire country placed upon them, Only the wealthiest among us have that ability. They have the wealth, the resources, and the power to shoulder that ability. Whereas the working class completely and utterly lack this ability.
to those of you who think that the wealthy are going to flee the greatest country in the world, You're wrong. If they try. The federal government has the full ability to sanction individual wealthy people using the plan the Biden administration laid out to go after Russian oligarchs. To this end I have adapted and included this In the Waging war on wealth tax plan. We Also seek out Tax havens in other countries; We can sanction the countries until they comply and return the people’s money. And if a company thinks they can flee? To avoid their tax obligations. We can simply invest in companies that do what they once did, then exclude them from the US Economy. As well as leveraging the 694 billion in government contracts two of the largest corporations in the country to pay their taxes.
